Despite bagging a hat trick of tries in the Dyldam Parramatta Eels’ trial match on Saturday, winger Reece Robinson is keen to get more involved as the 2015 season gets nearer.
Saturday’s 30-22 win over Penrith was Robinson’s first trial appearance since his efforts in the NRL Auckland Nines, and included a short stint at fullback in the second half.
“I felt pretty good, I just felt a bit sluggish at the start,” Robinson said.
“I just need to get myself more involved. I wasn’t really happy with my game, but I was happy with the outcome.”
“We had a couple of unfortunate errors and silly mistakes, we just need to build a bit of a pressure, and that’s something we’ll work on.”
