The Parramatta Eels Foundation provides an opportunity for members, fans and partners to contribute towards the long-term future of the Club; maximise on-field success, provide world class resources and facilities for our Academy programs and support and enhance our community connection.

The Eels Foundation message is simple: we need to invest, nurture and care for our people so we can remain one of the strongest sporting organisations in the country for years to come.

Meaningful community connection is fundamental to who we are as a Club. We are creating a space to welcome all our people and the community in a way that has never been possible before.

We are creating a legacy for future generations.

Our Foundation Pillars

The Parramatta Eels are the most supported NRL team in the Western Sydney region. We work alongside fans, partners and the community to be more than a football club.

Together we will spark community pride, to achieve this, we have three key pillars:

1. Parramatta Eels Academy

Delivers targeted coaching and development programs for young men and women in the Club’s Junior Representative teams (ages 16- 19 years) and Junior Development Programs (ages 13-15 years).

Allows us to secure and support future generations of Eels players to give them the best opportunity to reach their potential both on and off the field and drive the Club towards premiership success.

2. Centre of Excellence & Community Centre

The Centre of Excellence and Community Centre will be the largest rugby league facility in Australia and a great asset for our Club for generations to come.

The Centre of Excellence will provide elite training facilities for our NRL, NRLW and Academy programs including a world-class gym, aquatic facilities, in-house medical and rehabilitation areas.

The Community Centre includes a 1500 seat grandstand, a multi-purpose function room, and community gym and will be a focal point for the development of future Eels and the delivery of many of our social impact and community connection programs.

The facility will deliver a ‘one-club’ environment with the NRL, NRLW, Academy and administration under one roof. It will be a place to acknowledge and celebrate our partners and supporters and recognise and showcase our club’s history, legacy and community connection.

3. Social Impact & Community Connection

We are more than football; we are a community. Our Club aims to create a meaningful and long-lasting impact on our community, across 3 key pillars:

• Mental health - Reduce stigma by being part of the conversation and increase education through programs and resources.
• Respect - Educate on the power of language in real and digital world. Encourage and model positive behaviour.
• Active kids - Encourage active participation by young boys and girls across a wide range of rugby league programs, with well-being and the concept of play at heart.

The Parramatta Eels Community Centre will not only be a home for our Elite and Academy programs, but it will also be an asset for the Western Sydney community.

This project will enable our Club to host major community sporting events, health and well-being programs, a First Nations and community outdoor meeting space, elite level sporting fields available for use by community groups, a community gym for local clubs and Eels pathway programs, and a Café.
