Eels named for Cup Finals

Parramatta stars Mitchell Moses, Zac Lomax and Mahalia Murphy will line up for Australia in the Pacific Cup deciders at CommBank Stadium on Sunday.

The Eels trio have featured in each of Australia's matches at this year's Pacific Championships, and now have an opportunity to take home silverware with both the Kangaroos and Jillaroos reaching the tournament finals.

With the Kangaroos facing Tonga in the Final, both Mitchell Moses and Zac Lomax have been named to start.

The new Eels teammates made their Test debuts in Australia's tournament-opening win against Tonga, and starred in the win over New Zealand.

Incoming recruit Isaiah Iongi is part of the extended Tonga squad to face Australia, and may be called upon to make his Test debut.

Mahalia Murphy is aiming to cap off her incredible return to the Green & Gold this year as the Jillaroos and Kiwi Ferns clash in the Women's Final.

The Eels Captain returned to the Australian Test team for the Pacific Championships, nine years on from her one and only past appearance. She has been named on the Jillaroos bench for the decider.

Abbi Church is among Australia's reserves, putting her in the frame for a Jillaroos debut at her NRLW home ground.

The Women's promotion-relegation match will feature another three Eels, as Elsie Albert's PNG Orchids face Lindsay Tui and Pihuka Berryman-Duff in the Fetu Samoa side.

All four Finals of the Pacific Championships will be played at CommBank Stadium on Sunday, with matches kicking off between 11:40am and 6:20pm.
