Parra stars selected for Test duty

The Eels' representative stars are set to commence international duty this month, with several players selected for their countries ahead of the 2024 Test window.

Rookie pair Jake Tago and Blaize Talagi have each been chosen for Samoa after making their NRL debuts with the Eels in 2024. Samoa will tour the UK as part of a two-match series against England.

NRLW duo Lindsay Tui and Pihuka Berryman-Duff have been named in the Fetu Samoa team for the Pacific Championships.

Four Eels will feature for the Cook Islands: NRL forward Makahesi Makatoa, alongside Harvey Norman Women's Premiership trio Chelsea Makira, Ryvrr-Lee Alo and Tahleisha Maeva.

Isaiah Iongi has earned his first call-up to the Tonga national team ahead of his arrival at Parramatta. The incoming Eel will aim to cap off his NRL debut season with a Test debut at the Pacific Championships.

NRLW trio Cassey Tohi-Hiku, Jade Fonua and Kate Fallon will join the Tonga team for their run of Women's fixtures.

Maika Sivo is set to resume his decorated Test career with Fiji as part of a star-studded Bati squad.

Rosie Kelly has been named by New Zealand in the Kiwi Ferns extended squad on the back of her impressive NRLW debut season.

The Eels will have representation across the Kangaroos and Jillaroos, with Mitchell Moses, Zac Lomax, Abbi Church and Mahalia Murphy all selected for Australia.

Moses and Lomax will link up in Kangaroos camp ahead of the latter's first pre-season with the Eels, while Church and Murphy reunite for the Jillaroos.

Additionally, four Eels will feature in this year's Prime Minister's XIII fixtures. Sean Russell has been selected for the Australia side, while Abbi Church and Rory Owen will go head-to-head with Eels teammate Elsie Albert in the Women's match.
