Injury Update: Cherrington & Kapua

Rueben Cherrington and Boss Kapua have each been ruled out for the remainder of the 2024 NRLW season after suffering serious injuries in Round 1.

Cherrington sustained a syndesmosis (ankle) injury in a tackle against Brisbane. The 20-year old will undergo surgery and miss the remainder of the year.

Kapua injured her knee during the Round 1 game. Scans have confirmed a PCL injury which brings her season to an end.

The pair join Pihuka Berryman-Duff, Mia Middleton and Lindsay Tui on the sidelines.
