The Parramatta Eels were thrilled to host over 1000 junior participants at Parra Play camps and clinics across the Rising West during the July school holidays.
In alignment with our ‘Active Kids’ Social Impact Pillar, the Eels proudly hosted 2 holiday camps, in partnership with Motiv8sports, encouraging participants to engage in active play and Rugby League come-and-try skill days.
Colour in PARRAdise saw over 350 kids aged 5-12 engaged in physical activities and challenges while experiencing vibrant messy fun. Eels NRL and NRLW players were on hand, alongside Motiv8sports coaches, to show off their skills and join in the colour explosion with many happy to turn participants blue and gold.

In partnership with City of Parramatta, the Parra Play Girls Only event saw over 200 girls aged 5-12 take to the field to get active and try their hand at Rugby League skill games. The event was the perfect way to celebrate kick-off of the 2024 NRLW Season with the next generation of female players learning from Eels NRLW stars Rachael Pearson, Elsie Albert and Ruby-Jean Kennard-Ellis.

We also welcomed over 300 junior members to participate in a skills clinic run by NRL Game Development Officers to get our future Eels game ready.
Additionally, our NRLW players provided coaching support to a further 4 NRL League Stars Clinics, with Eels staff also assisting at the Wheelchair Rugby League Clinic.
The Club is proud to report the popularity and positive impact of our Parra Play initiative continues to exceed participants and the broader community’s expectations. New and exciting programs are in development, with details to be confirmed in due course.
Parramatta Eels respect and honour the Traditional Custodians of the land and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on.
