Level 1 & 2 Sports Trainers

Team Manager

The Parramatta Eels NRL Club is actively seeking Expressions of Interest (EoI) from qualified Coaches, Level 1 & 2 Sports Trainers, and Team Managers who are eager to be part of our prestigious Pathways program. This exceptional opportunity opens doors within our Junior Representative Pathways squads and beyond, offering a promising pathway for individuals with the right skills and unwavering passion for rugby league.

Our comprehensive Junior Representative programs encompass a diverse range of highly competitive competitions, including the SG Ball Cup, Tarsha Gale Cup, Harold Matthews Cup, Lisa Fiaola Cup, and Summer 16's. As esteemed members of these programs, successful candidates will assume a pivotal role in nurturing and cultivating young talent, actively shaping the future stars of rugby league.

Coaches – Head Coach & Assistant Coaches

Among the items you will be responsible for but not limit to will be:

Attend selection trials, assisting with directing squad and team selection.
Develop and implement preseason and in-season coaching programs aligned with NRL Coaching philosophies.
Assess coaching programs regularly, working with team staff and Elite Player Program Department.
Analyze player performance data to make informed decisions on selection, retention, and recruitment.
Provide comprehensive player assessments, deliver weekly previews and reviews, and offer quality feedback for development. Maintain positive relationships with players and staff, contribute to recruitment, and expand coaching qualifications. Deliver lectures at coaching courses as needed.
Experience and Knowledge:

Senior Club Coach – compulsory for Head Coaching Positions
Working with Children Check – compulsory.
High Performance Coach favourable but not required.
Experience operating in a team environment.
Sports Trainers – Level 1 & 2 (Orange, Yellow & Blue)

Among the items you will be responsible for but not limit to will be:

Training setup to the standards required by the Parramatta Eels
Strap players for prevention of injury and stability prior to training
Monitor players during training regarding potential injuries
Assess players who are injured during training and give initial treatment
Filling/re-filling water bottles and providing water for players during training sessions
Experience and Knowledge:

FAO Level 1 minimum – compulsory
Working with Children Check – compulsory
FAO Level 2 favourable but not required
Experience operating in a team environment.
Team Managers

Among the items you will be responsible for but not limit to will be:

Liaising with all team members, parents and coaches to ensure the athletes are informed of training schedules and locations.
Communicating any schedule changes to players, parents and staff
Ensuring all athletes are wearing appropriate training clothing and equipment as per club policy.
Assisting players with registrations and completing forms as required
Ensuring the facility is left clean, tidy and locked after the completion of all training sessions.
Distributing team apparel as required
Experience and Knowledge:

Working with Children Check – compulsory.
Previous Team Manager experience
