Parramatta Eels winger Maika Sivo has been charged by the NRL Match Review Committee following the Club’s Round Nine clash against the Melbourne Storm at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday 11 May.
Sivo has been charged with a Grade Three High Tackle – Careless following a tackle of Storm fullback Jahrome Hughes in the 49th minute of the clash.
Sivo’s charge has a base penalty of 200 points for the offence with 150 for an early guilty plea and 200 if found guilty from this charge.
If Sivo enters an early guilty plea, he will miss one week of the competition and be available for selection in Round 11. If he decides to challenge the charge and loses, he would miss two games.
The Eels have until midday Monday 13 May to respond to the charge.
