Junior Rep - Round One Highlights

The Parramatta Eels Junior Representative sides (SG Ball, Harold Matthews and Tarsha Gale Cup) have come away with victories in the opening round of their respective competitions on the weekend with the SG Ball sides defeating the Central Coast Roosters whilst the Tarsha Gale kicked off their season with a victory over the Canberra Raiders.

SG Ball

Parramatta Eels 16 (Tries: Matthew Komolafe, David Hollis, Viliami Penisini; Goals: Samuel Louzou 2/2) def. Central Coast 10

Harold Matthews

Parramatta Eels 20 (tries: James Malauulu, Tobias Lewis, Hayden Reti-McClintock; Goals: Francis Faaofo Tuitino 4/4) def. Central Coast 14

Tarsha Gale

Parramatta Eels 32 (Tries: Shondell Akhabue, Tehianinu Raibevu (2), Tahlia Alexander, Allison Futialo, Martha Fua; Goals: Allison Futialo 3/3, Breeze E’e) def. Canberra Raiders 14

Next week, the young Blue & Gold will take on the Illawarra Steelers at Collegians Sporting Complex on Saturday 16 February.

In historic news, the Eels have entered teams into the 2019 Andrew Johns and Laurie Daley Cups for the first time, with their competitions kicking off this weekend.
