Vave charged by Match Review Committee

Parramatta Eels forward Siosaia Vave has been charged by the NRL Match Review Comittiee following the Club’s Round 24 clash against the North Queensland Cowboys at 1300SMILES Stadium on Friday 24 August. 

Vave was charged with a Grade One Dangerous Contact – Other charge on Cowboys forward Jordan McLean in the first minute of the clash.

Vave’s charge has a base penalty of 100 points. An early guilty plea will see Vave not miss any weeks of the competition and will be available for the final round of the competition next week when the Eels take on the Roosters.

UPDATE - Siosaia Vave has entered an early guilty plea and will be available for selection in Round 25.
