For the first and only time during season 2017, the Eels and the Panthers face off in the Battle of the West.  And for just the second time ever the two western Sydney rivals will square off at ANZ Stadium.

In both local derbies during the 2016 season the Panthers came from behind to seal close victories.  In Round 5 only 2 points separated the two rivals  when Bryce Cartwright scored in the last minute while in Round 19 it was only a 4 point margin that separated the teams following a Panthers comeback.

This Round 8 game is part of the NRL’s ANZAC Day Round and with a 3pm kick off, it will be perfect for the whole family to attend the Eels salute to service.  There’s nothing more stirring than experiencing the minute’s silence, hearing the ode, the last post and the anthems during the pre-game ceremony.  It will be an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

The Eels flag will be raised by crew of the HMAS Parramatta. Don’t miss what will be an emotional and exciting afternoon.

And don’t forget integrated charter buses will be available again across selected routes to the game.  These proved popular for the Round 4 game so if you are a Member or have pre-purchased tickets check out the routes and plan your trip.

Take advantage of the integrated transport options and save by pre-purchasing your ticket now!
