In conjunction with the Sydney Writers’ Festival, the Dyldam Parramatta Eels are excited to invite you and your family to visit Russ the Story Bus next month!
Russ the Story Bus is a creative space where children can browse a library full of the latest children's books, swap a pre-loved book for a new favourite, listen to a story or hear authors and illustrators talk about their craft.
The thing is, Russ is no ordinary bus. With his exterior covered in artwork by a leading children’s book illustrator and his interior designed by an award-winning architect firm, he’s actually pretty fancy. The other thing is, Russ has a belly full of books for children of all ages and he needs to lighten the load by giving some away!

TIME: 1pm - 3pm
WHERE: Eels Training Complex, Old Saleyards Reserve (Gladstone Street, North Parramatta)
Activities include:
-Russ the Story Bus book swap. Kids can bring a book from home and swap it for a new one on the bus!
-Story book reading
-Meeting Eels players and Sparky
-Free sausage sizzle for the first 200 people
