Dyldam Parramatta Eels Tepai Moeroa has today been confirmed by the Australian Rugby League Commission to represent the Prime Minister’s XIII against Papau New Guinea in Port Moresby on Saturday, September 26.
Moeroa's naming in the side is an great honour for the 19 year old, previously named in the Emerging Blues Camp and Junior Kangaroos side.
The squad, which will be captained by Trent Merrin and coached by Penrith Panthers’ Ivan Cleary, has been selected from the teams not involved in the remaining 2015 Finals Series.
Cleary is viewing the match as an important selection trial for younger players looking ahead to the 2016 Representative matches.
