The Dyldam Parramatta Eels have taken to the field at the University of Washington’s indoor practice field on Saturday as part of the team’s 8-day tour of Seattle.

On Day Five of their American trip, the Blue and Gold tested out the incredible, air-conditioned, indoor venue after a visit to meet local kids at the King County Boys & Girls Club at Rainer Vista.

Prop Tim Mannah said while the coaching staff were pushing the Eels in their on-field and gym sessions, the playing group had no regrets about starting their pre-season a week early to make the journey to Seattle.

“We came back to our pre season a week earlier [than planned], so we could have still been on holidays with our feet up,” Mannah said.

“But it’s been good to get active, be round the boys and just get the bonding going. We’ve been working hard but at the same time it’s been more of an educational week.”
