The Dyldam Parramatta Eels can confirm hooker Nathan Peats has been ruled out for the rest of the 2014 season after an ACL injury to his knee.

Peats will undergo surgery and begin his rehabilitation as soon as possible.

Peats joins a handful of other players on the Eels injury list:

Centre Willie Tonga missed the Eels' Round 12 match against the Penrith Panthers with a rib injury, with an estimated return date yet to be confirmed.

Under 20s hooker Kaysa Pritchard is being treated for a shoulder injury (return date to be confirmed).

Jacob Loko remains sidelined indefinitely with his right knee injury.
