Hi Dream Teamers,
Burty's away having "important" meetings with the NRL this week, so I've taken it upon myself to hack his NRL Dream Team and make a few changes to earn some points.
Last week wasn't his best score, 536 points just isn't going to cut it, so I'm making a couple of trades.
Who's OUT:
David Williams ($197,500) has only been in for a week but he's getting the flick. Harsh, I know - but fair.
Jack Reed ($212,900) is getting dropped as well. I want to try and make a bit of room in the salary cap for a couple of bigger trades down the track.
Who's IN:
Edrick Lee: ($202,600) He's been in blistering form even though the Raiders have been struggling. He's been capitalising on the opportunities created by his halves, so he'll come straight into the starting side.
Dean Whare ($158,000) He's had good form for New Zealand in the Anzac Test and against the Eels he was in great form. He'll continue that through this week and will play on our bench.
I'm making a few changes to the bench as well:
**Ben Smith is off the bench for Justin O'Neill from the Melbourne Storm.
**Beau Champion is getting boosted to the starting side, with new recruit Dean Whare on the bench.
**Justin Horo will also get a run on the starting side with Ben Te'o having a week starting off the bench.
Burty will be back next week - unless I'm better at picking a Dream Team - then maybe I'll be sticking around!
Until next time,
Nathan Cayless
