Matthew Beach

Matthew has been a director of the Parramatta Eels since February 2023. 

Matthew has over 25 years' experience in private investing acquiring, building and selling businesses across a range of industries, both domestically and internationally. Matthew has worked on M&A transactions in  varying industries ranging from aviation and property to advertising and marketing.  

Matthew is currently a partner at M.H. Carnegie & Co (MHC)., a private equity firm, where is responsible for managing the firm’s real assets and private credit platforms.  As part of his role at MHC Matthew is a director on a number of boards in industries ranging from HR Services, Property Development,  Car Rental and Healthcare Real Estate. 

Prior to his role at M.H. Carnegie, Matthew was the founding CEO of Global Aviation Asset Management (GAAM), an international aircraft leasing business.  Matthew grew GAAM from a start-up to a fleet of 53 commercial aircraft, valued at A$2bn, operating from offices in Sydney, London and Dublin.  Matthew successfully sold the GAAM aircraft portfolio to the NYSE-listed FLY Leasing Limited in October 2011.

Matthew has a background as a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce, in Accounting and Finance, from the University of NSW.
