Parra TV is changing. In 2009 the service will move to a new platform, have new features, and will be FREE to all users!

Dear Eels Fans,

This is just a quick note to say thanks for supporting Parra TV over the last 12 months.

The launch of Parra TV saw the Parramatta club take a unique position within Rugby League. You, the fans, received an insight into the day to day running of the team, while the club learnt a number of valuable lessons about the provision of online video at a time where such content is in unprecedented demand.

In coming months the Parramatta club, in conjunction with the National Rugby League, will launch a new team website as part of a new network of NRL club sites. Our site will retain the www.parraeels.com.au URL and will still be uniquely Parramatta, while at the same time enjoying additional benefits that only being part of something whole of game can bring.

Included in the new site will be access to club and also match day video content through the BigPond TV media player. The change of technology requires a change of approach and as a result Parra TV will be taking the next few months off while we come to grips with what’s required to maintain our level of service.

It will return, through the main Eels website, in early 2009 with a series of features detailing the Eels pre-season training regime.

And as an added bonus, Parra TV will be provided on a free of charge, non-subscription basis to all users from 2009 onwards.

Once again,  thank you for your support in 2008 and we look forward to seeing you all back in 2009.
