The "Eels Out and About" Community programme is another step in bringing together the Parramatta District Rugby League Club, the Parramatta Leagues Club, and the community of greater western Sydney.

"Eels Out and About" is a combined programme undertaken by the Parramatta Leagues Club and the Parramatta District Rugby League Club. Whilst the main objective of the Parramatta District Rugby League Club is to win a First Grade premiership, the "Eels Out and About" programme is an essential part of the elements of success needed to achieve this goal.

The Parramatta Eels recognise the importance of giving back to our community. The programme offers the use of Parramatta players and coached for charitable causes and mentoring, encouragement and incentives for children on and off the playing field, sports skills development and the development of our game in country areas, interstate and internationally.

"Eels Out and About" has a number of elements, including development, coaching, sporting and Rugby League ambassadors, charities, community assistance and welfare.
