The Parramatta Eels have worked with The Northcott Disability Services for many years and are proud to now make
the
partnership official.
The Northcott Disability Services was established as the NSW Society for crippled children in 1929 by the
Rotary Club
of Sydney in response to the growing number of children left with the effects of Polio and other debilitating illnesses.
Today, Northcott provides support and services to more than 6000 individuals and families across NSW and
the ACT. Northcott provides over 70 services across a broad range of disabilities including physical, intellectual, as well
as sensory problems.

Parramatta Mission is one of the largest providers of community services in Sydney's West and the Hills District.
The Mission works in partnership with federal, state and local governments, the business community, welfare
organisations, community groups and concerned individuals to create a supportive and caring community for those in need.
The Parramatta Leagues Club has worked with the mission over the years supporting fundraising events and
combined with the Pirtek Parramatta Eels are thrilled to be helping a local charity in 2008.

Books In Homes - proudly supported by the Parramatta Eels
The Books In Homes Foundation aims to help young disadvantaged children improve their reading skills and to
help them develop and maintain a love for reading; which will ultimately broaden their opportunities later in life.
To date, Books in Homes Australia has over 10,000 children in their program from 110 communities across
NSW, VIC, QLD, SA and WA.
The Books in Homes program is one that the Eels are very proud to support in conjunction with the Eels
literacy program ‘Try Reading’ which also promotes the importance of reading.
